DoCoMo’s summer collection, the N702iS

This N702iS is a FOMA phone with a 2.1″ QVGA screen and a 1.3MP camera.

Season after season, DoCoMo is churning out ugly and un-interesting phones… and this summer is no exception. Let’s have a look at this ugly and useless addition to their range… ok, it’s not completely useless, since it has one feature that will be interesting for about 5 minutes. This N702iS is a FOMA phone with a 2.1″ QVGA screen and a 1.3MP camera. It’s available in 8 colours and the concept behind it is based on “champagne” and “water”. As you can see on the exterior screen, there are bubbles that can be activated, just like in a glass of champagne. It also has a screen background that changes when you tilt the phone. Once docked on its charging station, this N702iS will also double as a ambient light lamp. As said before, the phone is available in a number of colours that have ridiculous names like Mineral Water, Strawberry Milk, Cafe Latte, Soda, Orange Juice, Cranberry, Matcha, Hot Chocolate, … and the worst aspect of this phone is that it’s finished with a kind of ultra-ugly plastic. I really hope that the Japanese will burst out of their manga-inspired bubble soon and start meeting real people and hopefully see all the cool (and real) stuff out there…
I Really Like that mobile… especially the floating screen…
Do you?
